Lord Richard Buckley was an American stage performer/recording artist/monologist. He was called "a magnificent stand-up comedian" by Michael Packenham who wrote for The Baltimore Sun. He was the inspiration for greats like Robin Williams, Jimmy Buffet, George Harrison, Dizzy Gillespie, Frank Zappa, and more. Bob Dylan mentioned Lord Buckley in his book "Chronicles" saying that "Buckley was the hipster bebop preacher who defied all labels". He died in November of 1960.
