Jim Tews is a comedian/writer. He was the mastermind and creator behind the HBO series “The Opener”. His book “Felines of New York” made the New York Times Bestseller List. He got his comic debut when he appeared on the show Last Comic Standing. He has performed at prestigious festivals like the Eugene Mirman Comedy Festival, the Sand Francisco Sketchfest, and the Bridgetown Comedy Festival. In 2011 he was mentioned as one of the Just for Laughs Montreal New Faces.
